About Me

My name is Desireé and I hold a BA in psychology with a creative writing minor from Carthage College. I am a speaker, published author and chapter leader for Kingdom Writers Association. I have always loved writing. For me, it’s how I make sense of the world around me. I finished the rough draft of my first book during quarantine of 2020, and published it that following winter. Since then I have continued to write blogs, poems, songs, and another book, all of which can be accessed on this site.

As a chapter leader for KWA, I am committed to helping you develop your gift and connect with God in the process. Kingdom Writers Association is a resource center to empower, encourage and unlock Kingdom scribes into their calling and to publish award-winning material within all genres with the purpose of reaching more people for Christ. The group I lead meets every other Tuesday. My vision lead is Marianna McCall, founder of the Creative Arts Resource Center in Waukesha offering inner healing and outer transformation through art, writing, and dance.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, dancing (mostly contemporary and a little hip hop), and learning piano.
