Prophetic Paintings

I'll admit it: Prophetic can sound weird to people. It's not some strange mystic thing. It's listening to God and hearing His heart for another person or group of people. It's meant to build up and encourage-not be weird, creepy, or controlling. Sometimes the prophetic is presented in words. Here, you will find t presented in art. Each painting is message I felt the Holy Spirit give me during times of musical worship.

Called out of Darkness
The black represents dark places that we can find ourselves in...dark places like depression, anxiety, strings of bad choices, etc. The yellow represents the light of Christ bursting through it. The blue represents his Holy Spirit, and orange, joy.

Victory is Your Promise
As a child of God, Victory is your promise. Victory in your identity which is royalty, love, joy, peace.

Sword of Freedom
The sword represents the authority God has given us, His Bride. It’s time to take it up and take our place.

Center of Restoration
This piece is meant to be a reminder that the Church is meant to be a center of restoration. We're called to build and rebuild as Isaiah 61:4 states: They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.

You're Part of the Story
I painted this piece when I needed a reminder that while my part in life may look different from other peoples', my part is still important. I'm part of a larger story, and so are you.

Restoration
This image was inspired by two principals: The first is kintsukuroi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold laquer, to show that it is more beautiful for having been broken. The second is a reflection of God's heart for the people He loves. He longs to see us restored, and promises restoration. When God restores, He pours His gold into us, making us better and more beautiful.

Psalms 91:4
Simple, but powerful. I painted this image with acrylics on canvas about the protection God promises us in Psalm 91.
